About the Butler Center

The Butler Center for Arkansas Studies is a department of the Central Arkansas Library System. We promote the understanding and appreciation of Arkansas history, literature, art, and culture. Our research library and archival collection is open to the public.

The Butler Center is located in the Bobby L. Roberts Library of Arkansas History and Art, formerly known as the Arkansas Studies Institute.  Visit us in downtown Little Rock at:
